2003 PREVIEW
There will be a Summary of Sooty added to this page very soon
Another EXCLUSIVE from the person who brought you the news of Miki before the new series. That was two years ago and now we bring you a preview of what the 2003 puppets will look like.

After Series 50 which honour that mile-stone by using the same old fanshion style of puppets (sooty and sweep) used by Harry Corbett with Soo, Scampi and Butch looking fresh face as well. Miki was almost a lookalike to Tigs, a really old friend to Sooty who made a comeback in an episode of Sooty Heights.

Now to comment on this years style:

MIKI: Third new look in three years, they have went back to Series 49 look but Miki looks more greyier than before. In this picture she doesn't have whisers, her eye colour has change from lime green to dark green, her nose is more pink and she hasn't got a collar.

BUTCH: From Series 48 to Series 50 he has had three new looks in three years but for Series 51 they have RE-USED the Series 49 puppet. If the dog collar reminds we don't know.

SOOTY; It was nice to see them using the same or the same style of puppet used by Harry Corbett for Series 50 but now like Butch, Sooty hasn't change much from the Series 49 puppet apart from that his nose has got slighty bigger (just by one tiny bit) and like Miki his eye colour has change from Orange in Series 49 to Red/Orange for Series 51.

SWEEP: The loveable hound is a totally new puppet. He has change colour (from darker grey to a more ligher grey), his eyes are a different shade of orange and his nose is a darker red than before which was a lighter red. No word what the collar looks like but you can be sure its far more different than before.

The Soo and Scampi puppets for Series 51 haven't been release yet but we will be sure its going be great. So keep it here on REACHING BRAND NEW SOOTY HEIGHTS the much loved home for our 51 year old childhood hero.
